Seminar Description: The objectives of this full-day seminar are to provide participants with an understanding of the new five-step revenue recognition framework under the new standard used to determine when and the amount of revenue to recognize.

This seminar also provides:

- How the new framework may change prior revenue recognition for certain transactions and in certain industries and an understanding of key estimates and judgments required in applying the standard

- The application guidance in the standard on various topics such as warranties, licenses, capitalization of costs of obtaining and fulfilling a contract, contract modifications etc.

- The new qualitative and quantitative disclosure requirements and the standard’s transitional requirements

Prerequisite
Participants should read IFRS 15, Revenue from Contracts with Customers in advance of the seminar.
